Ansel Adams Biography

Ansel Adams is one of the most famous American photographers. He grew up in San Fransisco, California. Ansel learned to play the piano as a young child. He had a weird nose and dyslexia which then caused him to be home schooled. He is well know for his black and white pictures and that is what he mainly focused on. Other than being a photographer he was an environmentalist. He died in 1984, before his death he created great things and to this day everybody still looks at.
I chose this photo to the right because I really like how he used black and white to show where the sun and light are hitting the large rocks. It's very interesting to also see the clouds in the background. It opens my eyes to actually see that there are different lights all around us.

Panoramic photos

I really like this picture because I like how you can see the converging lines of the railroad tracks. I like the lights of the rides and how much  they stand out. This photo makes me think of summer time. I like the lighting and the lake in the background, the sky looks really beautiful. This photo caught my eye because you can see how big the entire thing really is, instead of just looking and focusing on one thing, it shows the whole picture.

This picture catches my eye because of the colors of the trees and how wide spread everything is. You can see almost the entire park. This photo makes me think of fall/winter time because of the colors and also the people ice skating. Another thing that really caught my eye was the buildings in the background and how wide spread the buildings are also.

Found Faces Story

On a cold, rainy day sat Pete. Even though it's always rainy and cold in the little town called Newberg, Pete always seems to have a smile on his face. He has a permanent home called Newberg High School. Pete didn't have any close family, all of his family members, brothers and sisters, mother and father, aunts and uncles were all separated when Pete was very young. All the other pipes were located all around the world. It saddened him, but he had other friends around the Newberg High School campus. His occupation is helping the water pipes and helping water pass throughout the school. He helps the school flow. His past times include, people watching; he loves seeing all the faces walk past him every day. He enjoys spending time with his best friend Joe, who is his neighbor and best friend. Last but not least, he loves smiling and making others smile. His hidden talent is singing and how well his voice echoes throughout campus. One day, Pete realized how much he really did miss all of his brothers and sister, along with his parents. He knew that it was a very slim chance, but "What if..." Pete thought. "What if some of my family is located at Newberg High School and I never knew?" so then, Pete had the idea to use his voice to echo, maybe even get a hold of one of his family members, if there were any. "HELLLLLOOOO?!?! THIS IS PETE! PETE PORTABO!" and then he heard a squeak, squeak. His hopes were rising by the very second. Then he got a response. "What? My last name is Portabo too." he heard an echo, most definitely a girl pipe.Maybe it was his long lost sister. After echoing back and forth with one another, they realized they had the same parents. This was a once in a million chance. It gave Pete hope. Even though they couldn't move to meet one another, they echoed back and forth quite a bit and really got to know and understand one another. After all of his years at Newberg High School, even seeing all the happy faces, Pete finally knew what real happiness felt like and he was content with himself.
